  YANTZ, Leo W. On Tuesday, May 29, 1979, at St. Mary's Hospital, after a lengthy illness, Leo W. Yantz, aged 62 years, of 9 MacVille Ave., Kitchener, Born in Bloomingdale, he was employed with the Regional Municipality of Waterloo for 38 years, until retiring in 1976, due to ill health. He was a member of St. Anthony's RC Church. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Yantz; beloved husband of the former Elsie McKibbon; dear father of Cheryl (Mrs. Frank Zenge() of Bloomingdale and Sharon of Waterloo; brother of Mabel of Waterloo, Alfrieda (Mrs. Emile L'Homme) of Dundas, Margaret of Kitchener and Beatrice ( Mrs. George Read) of Elmira. Also survived by three grandchildren, Shelly, Kelly and Carrie. Predeceased by two brothers, Lincoln and Wallace. Rested at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. Parish prayers Thursday, at 8:30 p.m. Prayers Friday, at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m., at ws t. [sic] Mary's RC Church, Kitchener, Rev. Fabian Ayers officiated.
