Passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, November 10, 1986, in his 78th year. Fred Mellis of 51 Crombie Street. Beloved husband of Elsie Woodison. Dear father of Barbara (Mrs. William Thomson) and Gayle (Mrs. Charles Coldham) both of Cambridge. Predeceased by one sister. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Mr. Mellis was born in Galt, April 26th, 1909 and was a retired employee of Babcock & Wilcox, employed for over 40 years. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, where the family will receive friends, on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services, will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, November 12, 1986, at 3: 30 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
