A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. __________________ Cressman. - Magdalena Cressman passed away at the Kitchener and Waterloo Hospital, on Sunday evening, Dec. 10, 1939, after a brief illness; aged 61 y. 10 m. 14 d. She was a daughter of the late Cyrus Cressman and Mary Horst, born at Nachez Jan. 26 1878, and was well known in her home community as a practical nurse. She united with the First Mennonite Church in her youth and remained a faithful member of the Church until her death. She is survived by 2 sisters (Mrs. Enoch Bauman of Winfield and Mrs. Lloyd Shantz of Carstairs, Alta.), also 5 brothers (Noah, Levi, and John Cressman of Breslau, Isaiah of Kitchener, and Allen of Guernsey, Sask.). One sister (Mrs. Jacob Cressman of Breslau) predeceased her Nov. 7, 1937. Funeral services were held in First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ont., in charge of R. K. Weber and J. B. Martin.
