ST. JACOBS - George B. Oberholtzer, 86, of St. Jacobs, died Sunday at Coutts Pavillion, Freeport Sanatorium, after a lengthy illness. Born in Kitchener on Jan. 27, 1875, he had been an employee at the Canada Felting Company Ltd. of St. Jacobs for 40 years. He was a member of Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church, St. Jacobs. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Oberholtzer, his first wife, the former Melissa Hallman, predeceased him in 1939. He is survived by his second wife, the former Clara McLeod, a son Earl of Winnipeg, a step-son, Rev. Wilfred McLeoad of Welland, a daughter Mrs. Harold (Florence) Trussler of Kitchener, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, where a funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. C. B. Carr of Calvary Church officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Evangelical Cemetery, St. Jacobs. Second wife, the former Clara McLeod, a son Earl of Winnipeg, a step-son, Rev.
