  Daniel Cressman, "was born July 23rd, 1835. He is married to Magdalena Baumann, who was born December 7th, 1828. They have resided in various places of the county, then they moved to Michigan where they resided for some time, and from there they moved to Lost Springs, Kansas, where they reside at present. To them were born five children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
