    • Daniel Cressman, "the eldest in family, was born March 17th, 1815. On March 27th, 1837, he was married to Anna, daughter of David and Elizabeth (Bechtel) Eby. She was born February 2nd, 1818, and died November 27th, 1848. After her decease he was married to Veronica Eby, sister to his deceased wife, February 13th, 1849. She was born September 26th, 1821, and died June 15th, 1878. After his marriage he moved on his farm a little south-east of New Hamburg where he died May 19th, 1886. His family consisted of six children, five of whom were born unto his first wife and one son unto his second wife."
