  • Notes
    • DICKSON, ROBERT M.

Word has been received from Springfield, Ohio, of the death of Mr. Dickson, at the home of his eldest son, Joseph. Mr. Dickson was a well known and respected resident of Puslinch and also at one time, of Eramosa. He came with his parents, brothers and sisters from Pentland, near Edinburgh, Scotland in the fall of 1856, first landing in Galt. After leaving Puslinch and Eramosa, he was for many years in the employ of the old G. W. Railway and of the G. T. Railway at Hamilton, London and Buffalo but he had made his home for the past four years with his son, Joseph and family, who did all in their power to add comfort to their father in the evening of his life as, among other trials, he was badly crippled with rheumatism. Mr. Dickson leaves, besides his own family, three brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Alexander Dickieson of North Dumfries; Mrs. Alexander Eason of Chatham; William Dickson, G. T. R. at Stayner; M. C. Dickson, G. T. R. at Woodstock; John M. Dickson, G. T. R. at Galt.
