    • Obituary for Marjorie DuVal

      It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished Mom and best friend, Marjorie DuVal, at the age of 74, on May 12, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Deanna (Dave Lehman), and loving Taylor. Predeceased by her devoted husband Ken DuVal (2012). She is survived by her loving sister, Helen (Ted) Christie and brother, Vince (Grace) Kurtz. Predeceased by her parents, George and Emma Kurtz, brothers: Roy, John, and Clare Kurtz and sister: Kathryn Edwards. Fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, and numerous great friends.

      Marjorie was a gentle soul who lived for family. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Her legacy will live on through those she touched.

      At Marj's request there is no visitation. A memorial mass to celebrate Marjorie's life will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Make a Wish Foundation or to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family. Donation cards are available at the funeral home (519-822-4731) or condolences may be left online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com.
