"I am Closing My Present Store" ---S. L. HAHN
Building must be Vacant by May 31st
In June, 1887, I left my home on the farm in Bruce County and entered a Dry Goods Store to serve my apprenticeship, and learn the business. For fifty years I have worked faithfully to give a dollar value in return for every dollar I received.
Weary now of the heavy load, I have definitely decided to close my present store. My landlord has been given notice and I will be out of the premises by June 1st. It is necessary, between now and that time, to sell out thousands of dollars worth of goods.
This tremendous task of selling will call for drastic cuts in price and, in many cases, a complete disregard for costs. This will be a long remembered event for Preston people. Since general prices are steadily advancing, double savings will be possible.
Watch next week for important information.
Sale Begins Friday, April 30th at 10 a. m. Store Closed Thursday
