      Unexpectedly but peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 12 in her 85th year. Cherished wife of George Schmiedendorf for 63 years. Loving and dedicated mother of Jim (Yvonne) Schmiedendorf of Kitchener, John (Doris) Schmiedendorf of Cambridge, David Schmiedendorf of Kitchener, Ann (Mark) Knechtel of Bethany, ON and Susan Vokey (Tim Durnford) of Cambridge. Doting grandma to thirteen (13) grandkids, and amazing great-grandma to eight (8). Survived by five (5) sisters and one brother, predeceased by four (4) brothers and one sister.

      Peg's life was lived fully through many roles \endash a sister, school teacher, wife, mother, gardener, master cook, baker, volunteer, Christ follower, and too many more to list.

      Visitation to remember Peg will be held Thursday, January 15th at 7-9 pm at Hespeler Baptist Church, 76 Adam Street, Cambridge and Friday morning at 10-12 noon. Services to celebrate her life and honour her Lord will be held at Hespeler Baptist Church on Friday, January 16th at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow in Fellowship Hall at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
