  ZIEGLER, Milton Emanual Peacefully at his residence at the Fairview Mennonite Retirement Home, on Tuesday, September 30, 1997, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Charlton (1987). Dear friend of Erma E. Snyder of Cambridge. Dear father of Wallace and his wife Laurine Ziegler of Cambridge and Klahernce (Kaye) and his wife Valma Ziegler of Gloucester. Cherished grandfather of Ann and her husband Alan Van Norman of Cambridge, Jane and her husband Dallas La Barre of Corunna, Scott and his wife Pamela Ziegler of Leduc, Alberta, Karen Thompson, Sandra Ziegler and Patricia and her husband Pete Cholette all of Gloucester and loved by thirteen great grandchildren. Brother of Daniel Evert Ziegler and Mallard Charles and his wife Anne Ziegler all of Cambridge and Wade Russell Ziegler of London and predeceased by seven brothers and three sisters. In his early years, Milton Ziegler was employed by the Hespeler Furniture Company and in 1929 he came to Galt and was then employed by the Gardiner Sash and Door Factory and then joined Sheldon Engineering in 1951 from where he retired. Served with the RCAF during the Second World War and a fifty year member of the RCL # 121 - Galt Branch. He resided at the Fairview Mennonite Retirement Home, for the past nineteen years, was an adherent of the Mennonite Church and a founding member of the Galt Sportsman Club. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main Street East, Cambridge, on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will then continue at Fairview Mennonite Auditorium, Concession Road at Langs Drive, Cambridge on Friday morning, from 10: 00 a.m. Funeral and Committal Service, will be conducted at the Fairview Auditorium, Friday, October 3, 1997, at 11: 00 a.m., with Pastor Paul Martin officiating.
