- MRS. ELIZABETH WINGFIELD
Mrs. Elizabeth Wingfield. 75 Brock St. passed away yesterday at the K.W. Hospital at the age of 81, following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 5, 1863 at Mosboro, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Bigbie. A former resident of Hespeler, she was an active worker in the Baptist Church, which was organized at the home of Mrs. Wingfield and her husband, the late William Wingfield, who died three years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Earl V. (Florence) Gilders of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Currie of Guelph; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel funeral home Tuesday at two o'clock. Burial will be made at the Hespeler Cemetery. Rev. J. C. Williamson of Preston will be in charge of the service, assisted by Rev. G. L. Stover of Kitchener. The remains are resting at the funeral home.
