    • MISS BERTHA FEAKES

      HESPELER, Jan. 24. Miss Bertha Feakes, Forbes street, a wellknown resident of Hespeler, died at her home last night. She had been in poor health for scveral years. A dlaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Feakes, deceased was born in Darwen. England and came to Canada in 1909. She attended Hespeler Anglican church and was an active member prior to her illness. During her illness she devoted much time to needlecraft. Some of her work was exhibited at the Canadian National Exhibition. She is survived by one brother, Thomas Feakes of Hespeler and by four sisters, Miss Ada Feakes at home, Mrs. Robert Hartrick and Mrs. James Leach, also of Hespeler and Mrs. George Proud of Galt. The funeral will be held privately on Monday, from the residence at 2: 30. Interment will take place in Trinity cemetery, Galt. Rev. L. V. Ponock, pastor of Hespeler Anglican church, will conduct the services.
