- HOLDEN, Herds - A longtime resident of Kitchener. passed away. Unexpectedly. at St. Mary's General Hospital. on Friday. December 21, 2001, at the age of 67 years.
Harris is survived by his longtime companion. Marlene of Kitchener; his children. Jack Schamber and her husband Rob of Baden, Jocelyn Holden of Mississauga and her friend John Schwalm of Waterloo, Richard Holden of Kitchener. Darrell Holden of Belwood. Joyce Yantha and her husband Greg of Kitchener and Crystal Holden and her fiance Mark Swift of Guelph. Also survived by Marlene's children. Carrie. Lisa and Jack. Re-membered by 12 grandchildren, Stephanie. Jamie. Meghann. Jeremy, Jared. William, Melissa, Jaimi-Lee, Tim. Cody. Jessica and Joshua and six great-grandchildren. Mitchell, Ashley, Rachel. Robin. Tyler and Seanna. Survived by his brothers, Dean Holden and his wife Ann of Kitchener. Roy Holden of Waterloo. John Holden of Peterborough and his sister, Mary Bray.
Predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Margaret (Yule) Holden and his brother, Melvin Holden.
At Harris' request, cremation will take place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Memory Gardens in the spring of 2002.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's General Hospital. Cardiac Care Unit and may be placed by contacting the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home at 745-9495. 6
