    • BECHTEL, Samuel D. - 88, of Charleston, died yesterday in a Huntington hospital following a brief illness. He was a former employee of the Eskew Smith and Cannon Co., and a member of Kanawha lodge, No. 20, AF & AM and the Tyrian chapter, No. 13, RAM, both of Charleston. Surviving are a son, G. A. Bechtel of Waterloo, Ia. and another son of Hibbing, Minn. The body was removed to the Barlow mortuary.

      Betchel, Samuel D. - Service will be at 4:30 p. m. today in the Barlow mortuary chapel. K. Y. Flank will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery with Kanawha lodge No. 20, AF & AM in charge. Mr. Betchel, 88, of Charleston, died Wednesday in a Huntington hospital.
