  MARILYN SCHEIFELE (Marilyn St. James) Passed away on Wed., Feb. 21, 2007. Marilyn was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. She taught as a primary specialist in Toronto, then taught English and studied singing in Rome Italy before settling in Manhattan and devoting her life to singing and acting. Stage performances included; South Pacific, Carousel, Pal Joey, Desert Song and Fiddler on the Roof. Operas included; Carmen, Marriage of Figaro, Il Trovatore and The Mikado. She wrote and performed "Great Women of Herstory" which enjoyed a run at the Elora Festival as well as many American venues. Marilyn is survived by brothers, Grant and Warren Scheifele; sisters, Jean Scheifele and Dorothy Gould; 11 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Clifford and Edith Scheifele Friends are invited to share their memories of Marilyn with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007 from 12: 30 p.m. to 1: 15 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1: 30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Private interment will take place Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
