  • Notes
    • Warnholtz, Albert George - Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 82nd year, on Friday, March 7, 2008, with his wife Kathleen, at his side. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen (nee Smith) for 58 years. Dear father of Judith Dolson (Peter McCaslin) of Kitchener and Brenda Carney of Cambridge. Albert is survived by three grandchildren, Todd (Richelle) Carney of Brantford, Tracy Lynn Carney of Burlington and Amanda (Eric) Dingfeld of Waterloo, brother Carl Warnholtz of Cambridge; sisters, Elizabeth Pilkington of Cambridge and Gertrude Fisher of Gravenhurst and many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Herman and Dora Warnholtz; sisters, Erna Falle, Martha Pilkington and Agnes Graham; and brothers, Gordon, Fred and Arnold Warnholtz. Albert was born and raised in Hespeler, Cambridge and lived there all of his life in the home he built himself as a young man. Albert was a very hard worker and when Canadian General Electric of Guelph commenced operations in the early 1950's he was one of the first six employees hired and worked there until his retirement. Albert also spent many enjoyable years working on his hobby farm, and throughout his life kept a very strong faith in the Lord. Cremation has taken place at Albert's request and the date for a memorial service celebrating Albert's life will be forthcoming. In memory of Albert, donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
