  GOUDY, JOHN Puslinch Native Passes in Galt Word has been received of the death at the home of his brother, Peter, 23 Hopeton St. in Galt on Friday night, February 21, 1930 of Mr. Goudy, aged 70 years, of Detroit, a native of Puslinch Township. Prior to taking up residence in the U. S. many years ago, he lived for a number of years in Galt. He had returned to Galt last December to attend the funeral of his brother, Alexander. He was not in good health at the time and grew worse. A widow, four sons, four daughters, four brothers, Robert of Belleville; Henry of Toronto; Peter and Edward: and one sister, Mrs. William Mullin, survive. The funeral took place on Monday at 2 from the residence of his brother, Peter to Mount View Cemetery. -Information from the death certificate: Born on March 31, son of Robert Goudy and Mary McKenzie. Occupation - sawyer and mill hand. Buried in Galt on February 24. Informant - Peter Goudy of 23 Hopeton St., Galt, his brother.
