  HOLM, SARAH (Nee Darby) Suddenly, at Guelph General Hospital, on Saturday, May 25, 1946, in her 73rd year. Never ill in her life, she suffered a stroke and died an hour after her removal to the hospital. Wife of the late Elias Holm. Sister of William and Neil Darby and Mrs. William Friendship, all of Guelph Township; Mrs. N. W. Laughlin of Winnipeg; Mrs. J. W. Barber of Elora; and Mrs. Millford Colling of Lowville. Mrs. Holm had been living with her sister, Mrs. Friendship at R. R. #7, Guelph since the death of her husband last October. She was born in Guelph Township, daughter of the late Cornelius Darby and Jane Taylor. After her marriage, she went to live on a farm near Hespeler with her husband. When Mr. Holm died last fall, she sold the farm. She was a member of the United Church. Service at the McIntyre and Greenaway Funeral Home on Wed., May 29 at 2. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.
