Passed away peacefully in his sleep to be with the Lord, with family by his side, on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Quelch) with whom he celebrated their 65th anniversary on March 20, 2022. Loving Dad of Kalina Bains (Adrian), Sheila Cressman (Ron), Ellamae Hawkins, Wilma Martin (David), Glenn, Carolyn Ongena (Jonathan), Julianne Fulmer (Keith) and Calvin (Heather). Cherished Grandpa of nineteen, Great Grandpa of nine and Great Great Grandpa of one. Dear brother of David (Eleanor). Predeceased by parents: Menno and Leah (nee Sauder), children: Marie and Marlin (both in infancy), siblings: Nancy Bauman, Edna Snider (Douglas, Ephraim, Vernon), Clayton (Lizzie) and Gordon (Mary, Madeline), grandchildren: Grant, Lincoln and Brandon.

Lincoln's faith was the glue to his family life. He was a peacekeeper with the Queen's Own Rifle serving during the Korean War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #50. He was a passionate truck driver for many years. In his retirement, he enjoyed time with his family, lawn bowling, crokinole, watching hockey and baseball, and serving as a chaplain with the legion.

Many thanks to all the many wonderful staff at Millwood Manor Retirement Home, in Kitchener who have cared for Dad over 11 years and the PSW's who came to their apartment over this past 11/2 years . You all have been appreciated so much !
To Family and Friends - Thank You for Your part in Dad's life ! We know he enjoyed every visit throughout the years !

Lincoln's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the First Mennonite Church or the MCC would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
