      Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2022, in his 82nd year.

      Beloved husband of Mary Lou Pfeffer (formerly Wright, Johnston) and the late Joyce Pfeffer (nee Dieter).
      Loving father of Toshua, Steven (the late Anna) and Jason (Laurie).
      Cherished grampa to Laura Pfeffer (Matt), Lindsay and Lewis Pyke, Reid and Ethan Painchaud, and great-grampa of Brooks.
      Dear brother-in-law to Marilyn Dieter, Bill Wright (Debbie Mills) and Alma Fraser.
      Predeceased by parents Leo and Johanna Pfeffer, brothers Harvey, Harold and Lorne, sister Elsie Hoffarth, and brothers-in-law Don Hoffarth and Don, John, and Ken Dieter, and sister-in-laws Betty and Dorothy Dieter.

      Reuben was a proud member of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 527 for 60 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly fishing and made friends wherever he went.

      Many thanks to the doctors, nurses, and health care staff for providing the best care possible.

      Reuben's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022. Reception to follow. Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
