- DEATH OF MRS. ANNIE HAY FORMER.
BERLIN LADY AND WELL KNOWN TO OLDER CITIZENS.
As noted in Tuesday's, issue, Mrs. Annie Hay of Toronto passed away at the Berlin and Waterloo hospital yesterday.
Mrs. Hay was the only sister of Mr. F. M. Zarnke, of 339 West King street, was born in Berlin fifty six years ago and among middle-aged residents had many friends and acquaintances. Mrs. Hay married a Toronto gentleman and has lived there for 32 years. Since February last, she has been living with her brother in Berlin. No children survive her. Her death was due to an attack of dropsy. She bore her suferings with Christian patience fortitude.
Friends remembered and admired her genial disposition and stanch friendship. Mrs. Hay's funeral will be a private one. It will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'cloc. from the residence of her brother, Mr. F. . M. Zarnke, to the East End Lutheran cemetery for interment. The Record extends its sympathy to the bereaved family in this hour of their affliction and is joined by all who knew the deceased lady or her estimable relatives.
