  • Notes
    • CLARK, Harold (Al) - 1928 - 2012 - It is with profound sadness that the family of Harold Clark announce his passing at age 84 on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Kincardine, Ontario. He passed away peacefully with loving family by his side. Born in Hespeler, Ontario, he was the son of the late John James and Maria Clark. Harold grew up in Breslau, Ontario where he joined in the family business, Breslau Wood Specialties, at age 14. The company was a large manufacturer of hockey sticks, employing more than 50 local workers, at it's peak. In 1975 he moved to Oliphant, Ontario where he continued his love of woodworking by building many new homes in the area. In 1996, he moved to Kincardine where he enjoyed his retirement years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Phyllis Lorraine Clark (nee Schiedel). He will be dearly missed by his children Nancy Clark, Peggy Clark-Bauman and son-in-law Michael Bauman. Adored by grandchildren Joshua, Michael, Krista (Eran) and Kimberly (Rob), great grandchildren James, Lucas, Michaela, Hannah and Liam. Lovingly remembered by brothers Lyle (Dorothy), Jack (Janice), sister Ethel and sister-in-law Marg. Predeceased by brother Robert. Special thanks to Dr. Scott, the Kincardine nursing staff and doctors for their compassion and assistance over these last difficult years. Also to the wonderful, caring staff at Tiverton Park Manor. Celebration of his life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, October 20th at the Kincardine Baptist Church, 569 Queen St. at 1:00 with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00. Should you wish, donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation in his memory would be appreciated.
