      Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home for Herman J. Vohs, who died on Sunday at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital. Mr. Vohs was 88.

      Born in Germany, he came to. Canada in 1903 and lived mostly in the New Hamburg area. He was a farmer until retiring seven years ago to live with his daughter, Mrs. John Riehl, 413 Huron St. He was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, Baden.

      He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johan Vohs, and by his wife, the former Frieda Krogman, two years ago.

      Surviving besides his daughter are three grandchildren.

      Rev. Ernest Felker will conduct the service. Burial will take place in Riverside cemetery.
