| Notes |
- Noah Detweiler," was born March 23rd, 1839. He devoted the early part of his life to agricultural employments. During the religious revivals among the Mennonites some twenty years ago, he was converted and when the new party, now known as the Mennonite Brethren in Christ, was formed in 1874 he became one of its earliest ministers. His preaching is always plain, practical and impressive. In the delivery of his sermons he is very earnest and serious. Up to the present he has done a noble work for the Master and wherever he labored the time has been diligently engaged in sowing the good seed (spreading the Gospel). He is married to Fannie Busch and when home resides in the town of Berlin, Ontario. His family consisted of six children."
