  Norene Elizabeth Schneider October 22, 1924, to April 16, 2022 Norene passed away peacefully at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Saturday morning, April 16, 2022, at the age of 97. Beloved mother of Dianne White and her husband Donald. Norene was predeceased by her daughter Heather Armstrong in 1995 and her husband Edwin Schneider in 1996. She was also predeceased by her parents, Louise (Reibling) and Edward Rank, her brother Loren Rank, her sister Merriel Margetts Evans, her brother-in-law Alfred Margetts, her nephew Claire Margetts, her parents-in-law Lydia (Berg) and Jacob Schneider, and her sisters-in-law Frieda Littleford, Eileen Schneider, Ella Schweitzer, and Laura Chattel. She will be sadly missed by her niece, Yvonne Horne, and family. At Fairview Mennonite Home, where Norene has lived for the past 6 years, the staff enjoyed her gentle nature, her funny sense of humour and her positive attitude. Thank-you to the wonderful staff at Fairview, especially in the Hespeler unit, who took such excellent care of her. Norene's family will receive friends and relatives at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 11 a.m. - 12 noon.
