Notes - WACHSMANN, Elise E. At Sunnyside Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 after a lengthy illness. The former Elise Emma Matutat, aged 87 years. Elise was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and was a seamstress by trade, having worked 21 years for Forsyths until her retirement. Sister to Karl Matutat. Predeceased by her parents August Matutat and Augusta Reder, her husband Gustav in 1987 and son Ewald in 1962 in infancy and two brothers Ewald and Richard. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Ehlebrecht officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre and donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Arthritis Society or the C.N.I.B as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home. A special thank you to the health care professionals at Sunnyside Home.
