      PRESTON Mrs. Catherine Souder, 79, of 343 Church St. S. Preston, widow of Ephriam Souder, died at her home Friday.

      Mrs. Souder was the former Catherine Buchholtz and was born in Hespeler. She had lived in Preston for 56 years and was a member of St. Paul's United Church here.

      Her husband predeceased her April 8 this year.

      Surviving are two sons, Mervyn of Galt and Robert of Preston; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Irene) Hacker of Preston; two brothers, Robert and George Buchholtz, and one sister, Edith Buchholtz all of Hespeler, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      The body will be at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Committal service will be in Preston Park Lawn memorial chapel. Rev. A. I. Waters of St. Paul's United Church will officiate.
