  Wyman Starr PRESTON, April 17\emdash Wyman A. Starr, well-known Preston resident for many years, died in Galt Hospital this morning, aftermath of a stroke suffered during the night. Mr. Starr, who was 62 years of age, had been in ill health for the past two weeks, but word of his sudden passing came as a shock, to numerous friends formed over a period of many years in the community. Born in Linwood he came to Preston at an early age, living here since that time with the exception of a short period in Detroit. A furniture finisher by trade has was employed at the Canadian Office and School Furniture. He was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters. Surviving are his wife, Eliza Ross; his mother, Mrs. Alex Starr, Preston; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Irene) Langley of Toronto; Mrs. Fred (Pearl) Howell of Camp Borden; Mrs. Verna (Mabel) Tremaine of Galt; one son, Theodore Starr, of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Groh, of Toronto and Mrs. C. Brown, Preston; two brothers, John Starr of Preston and Harry Starr of Maryland and nine grandchildren. His father, Alex Starr, predeceased him six years ago, and a brother, Edward, a year ago. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Wednesday with requiem high mass at St. Clement's R.C. Church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in the R.C. cemetery.
