    • Mrs. Wyman Starr

      PRESTON, Mrs. Eliza Starr of the Golden Years Nursing Home, died today, at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt, after a lengthy illness. She was 86. Mrs. Starr was born at Stearns, Ky. and had lived in Preston, for 60 years. She was a member of the King Street Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Wyman, in 1950. Surviving are one son, Theodore (Bud) of Kitchener; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Irene) Langey of Toronto, Mrs. Bern (Mabel) Tremaine of Galt and Mrs. Fred (Pearl) Rowell of Orillia; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Smither of Tennessee and Mrs. Rebekah Bradley of Kentucky; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where the funeral and committal services will be conducted, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
