      PRESTON, Dec. 29— A Preston resident for the past 38 years, Frederick J. Frank, 70, died at his home on Hamilton Street on Saturday. Ailing for the past four years the deceased had been critically ill for the past month. Mr. Frank was born at Newbury, and had resided in Windsor and Guelph before coming to Preston. A machinist, the deceased was employed at Ballantine's factory, the Preston Woodworking Machinery and the Grand River Railway. He was a Baptist by faith. Surviving are his wife, a brother, L. C. Frank, Detroit, a sister, Mrs. Walter Gadsby, Komoka Ont., a granddaughter, Carol Ann Hart, Preston. A daughter, Madolin, predeceased him a year ago. The remains are at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 2: 30, Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
