    • Mackenzie King preferred the name Berlin, and other finds in Laurier's new online collection

      WATERLOO REGION \emdash One interesting fact gleaned from Laurier University's new digitized collection of William Lyon Mackenzie King's correspondence with a Kitchener mayor is the prime minister really liked russet pears.

      Or, at the very least Charles Mortimer Bezeau, Kitchener's mayor from 1931-32, liked sending them to him.
