- LEHMAN, Carole (nee Metcalf) (Mrs. Douglas) - Peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at her home, Carole (Metcalf) Lehman, in her 71st year, of RR 2, West Montrose, formerly of RR 1, Waterloo. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Lehman (1994). Dear mother of Stephen and Sharon Lehman of London, Mark (deceased) (August 2006) and Ellen Lehman of Kitchener, Elizabeth and Walter Brubacher of West Montrose, Mary and Phares Martin of Mount Forest, Sarah and Orval Martin of Wallenstein. Lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Austin Lehman, Carole Brubacher, Lucille Martin, Sydnie Jane Lehman, Grace Martin, Glen Martin, Joshua Lehman, Leon Martin, Rosanna Martin, Ruthann Martin, Sharon Martin, Marlene Martin, Lawrence Martin and Mark Martin. Sister of Mrs. Larry (Joan) McCandless and William Franklin Metcalf. Predeceased by her parents, William and Verna Metcalf and one granddaughter, Florence Martin. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira today (Saturday) from 7-9 p. m. Transfer will then be made to the home of Walter and Elizabeth Brubacher, 421 Katherine St. N. , RR 2, West Montrose for further public visitation Sunday afternoon from 1 p. m. to 6 p. m. On Monday morning, September 17 at 9 a. m. , a family service will be held at the home of Samuel B. Martin, RR 1, Waterloo. Transfer will then be made to the Conestogo Mennonite Meeting House, RR 1, St. Jacobs (one mile west of St. Jacobs at Three Bridges, just off Hawkesville Road) for a public funeral service for family and friends at 10 a. m. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
