  HEIPEL, Mrs. John (Shirley) Peacefully, to her eternal home, on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Shirley Alice (Schott) Heipel was a resident of the Freeport Hospital for the past 18 1/2 years. She was born in Wellesley township 64 years ago. Daughter of the late Edward Schott and the late Alice Heinrich. Mrs. Heipel was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Erbsville. Beloved wife of John Heipel of Wallenstein for 45 years. Loving mother of Sharon and her husband David Holowack of Toronto, Patricia and her husband Craig Bailey of Cambridge, David and his wife Christine of Kitchener, Joanne of Toronto, Nancy of Vancouver and Andrew of Wallenstein. She will always be in our hearts. Robert, Annie, Daniel and Brianna will always cherish the memories of "Grandma in the Chair" She will be missed as a sister to Harley and Merlyn Schott of Waterloo, Donald Schott of Wellesley, Bruce Schott of North Bay, Willard and Millie Schott of Kitchener, Dianne and Gerald, Brohman of Waterloo and Sandra Schott of Waterloo. Sister-in- law of Walter Heimpel. Andy Jansen and Gladys Schott. Predeceased by four brothers. Ervin, Clifford (Verna), Howard (Beatrice) and Herbert; also by two sisters. Hilda Jansen and Eva Heimpel. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will also be at St. Paul's Church on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Olaf J. Poulsen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Erbsville.
