  SHOEMAKER, Ruby Violet Of Fairview Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, in her 92nd year, Ruby Wallis, beloved wife of the late Clarence Shoemaker (1986). Dear mother of Donald and his wife Donelda (Donna) of Point Clarke, Ont. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Douglas and Steven and his wife Betty and one great-grandson, Ryan. Survived by five sisters-in-law, Marie Walter, Lillian Schumacher, Molly Schumacher, Alberta Johnston and Verda Wallis and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, George and Caroline Wallis and two brothers, George Wallis and Jack Wallis. Mrs. Shoemaker was born in Galt and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was also a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle St. N., Cambridge on Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999, at 2 p.m, with Rev. Al Beaton officiating. Cremation has taken place.
