  JOHNSTONE, Leslie On Sunday, September 2, 2001, at Pioneer Care Centre, Kitchener, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Richards. Dear brother of Marie Knack and Ellen Currie, both of Cambridge and Edith Munk of Fergus. Predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret Johnstone; four brothers, Eric, Herbert, Harold and William and three sisters, Florence Christie, Gladys and Irene. Mr. Johnstone was born in Preston and was a lifelong resident. He was a retiree of Preston Furniture and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 126 Preston. The family received friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Tuesday, September 4, 2001 (today) from 10 a.m., till service time of 11 a.m., when Rev. John Anderson conducted the complete funeral service. Interment followed at Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge. The Record Newspaper 4 Sep 2001 pg B11
