  Mrs. H. W. Ruppel PRESTON, Mrs. Henry Walter Ruppel, 73, of 426 Duke St., died today at Coutts Pavilion, Freeport. Born in Waterloo, Mrs. Ruppel, lived in Preston for the last 60 years. She was the former Elma Scherer. Active in church work, she was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Chureh, a former treasurer of the Ladies Aid and a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Order of Easlern Star. She is survived by her husband, Henry and one son Howard, also of Preston. Two grandchildren also survive. Services will he at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home, Monday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in l'arklawn Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 27 Dec 1958 pg 5
