  • Notes 
    • Mrs. James Hope, 79, of Roseville, died Thursday at her home. Born in Roseville Oct. 10, 1876, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Detweiler. She was a member of Roseville United Brethren Church, the Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Women's Missionary Association and she was a Bible school teacher for many years.

      Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in Blair in 1900: one son. George of Roseville; two brothers, Dr. John Detweiler of Paris and Norman of Palmerston; two sisters. Mrs. William Beattie and Orpha of Preston. Two sisters predeceased her.

      The body will be at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home until Saturday at 2 p.m. when removal will be made to her home for the funeral there Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Detweiler Cemetery, Roseville, with Rev. J. E. Montgomery, pastor of the church officiating.
