    • Mrs. Albert E. Ayes

      PRESTON - Mrs. Albert E. Ayes, 82, formerly of 591 Guelph St., Preston, died Saturday, at K-W Hospital, Kitchener. Mrs. Ayes was the former Mary Anne Denham and was born in London, England. She had been a resident of Preston, for more than 60 years. She lived at Sunnyside Lodge, Kitchener, during the past year. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Galt. She is survived by her husband Albert E. of Kitchener; four sons, Albert of Galt, Harold of Doon, Frank of Halifax and Arthur of Toronto; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Entwistle of Preston; two brothers, Frederick of Preston and William of Royal Oak, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Pettigrew of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where service will be conducted, Tuesday, at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Preston, Park Lawn cemetery.
