- Mrs. William Wagester
After an illness of six months the death occurred last Thursday morning, May 14, of Mrs. Wm. Wagester, 63, at her home in East Zorra.
The late Mrs. Wagester, who was born in Reed City, Mich., on Sept. 28, 1878, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Blum, moved to Canada following her marriage on May 15, 1906.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Stanley, of Prescott and Walter of Kitchener. Three brothers, John, Aaron and Reuben Blum, Reed City, and two sisters, Mrs. Ezra Bitner, Reed City, and Mrs. J. C. O'Dell, Detroit, also survive, in addition to one grandchild. Mrs. Aaron Eidt of New Hamburg is a sister-in-law.
The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from her late residence to Zion Evangelical Church, Tavistock, of which deceased was a member, for service in charge of Rev. J. W. Siebert. Interment followed in the 17th line Cemetery, East. Zorra.

WAGESTER, Walter Clayton-Passed away at Sunnyside Home, on Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at the age of 91 years.
Beloved husband of Lorraine Wagester (nee DeShane); dear brother of Stanley and his wife Mary of Mississauga and brother-in-law of Grace DeShane of Guelph. Also survived by a niece, Julie Evans and nephew, Pat DeShane.
Walter was a former employee of Electrohome Ltd, where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Ontario Mission of the Deaf, a Board Member of the Ontario Camp of the Deaf, Kitchener Mission of the Deaf and the Gospel Deaf Fellowship.
Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, 742-4481 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999 at 11 a.m. Pastor Don Smith officiating. Spring interment Cassel Mennonite Cemetery, Tavistock.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gospel Deaf Fellowship or Sunnyside Home would be appreciated by the family.
