- Aaron B. Detweiler," was born May 24th, 1853. He is married to Elizabeth, daughter of John Z. and Magdalena (Schlichter) Detweiler. She was born May 26th, 1853. They reside on his father's old homestead near Roseville where he is engaged in farming. Their family consists of seven children, namely: VII Ida, VII John, VII Naomi, VII Norman, VII Orpha, VII Elma, and VII Bessie Elizabeth."

A. B. Detwiler
There passed away at Kitchener on Sunday an aged resident in the person of Mr. A. B. Detwiler, aged 71, after being confined to his bed for three weeks following an operation. Deceased was born in Roseville near the old homestead where he spent most of his life. Nine years ago his wife predeceased him. A family of six children survive, namely, John Detwiler, London, Norman of Regina, Sask., Mrs. James Hope of Roseville, Mrs. W. C. Beattle of Preston, Orpha and Elma at home. The funeral was held on Wednesday at Kitchener from the late home to the East End cemetery.

Died At Kitchener, Ontario, on Sunday, Sept. 14th, 1924 Aaron B. Detwiler Aged 71 years, 3 months and 21 days. The Funeral Will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 17th, 1924 at 2.00 p.m. from his late residence, 39 Bingeman Street, thence to east End Cemetery for interment.
