  Ephraim S. Detweiler," was born February 16th, 1856. He resides at Brown City, Michigan. He is married to Nancy Bear and to them were born three children." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ________________ Ephraim Detwieler, living one and one half miles west of Brown City, drove some cattle to town Saturday forenoon. He left the village about noon feeling ill, walking home and died in about two hours. Deceased was a prominent farmer of that section.
