  Ralph A. Schmidt. 54. of 296 Peel St., died at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday. August 12. Mr. Schmidt, born in Wellesley Township, resided in New Hamburg for 25 years. He was a son of the late Conrad Schmidt and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Augusta Schmidt of Stratford; his wife, the former Goldie Ratz; two sons, Bruce, Stratford and Kenneth, New Hamburg; four daughters, Mrs. John (Joyce) Hillar. New Hamburg. Mrs. Maurice (Catherine) Yungblut, Shakespeare. Judith and Cynthia both at home; two brothers, George of Kitchener and Frederick Monkton; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Luella) Scott, Strafford and- Mrs. Orville (Reta) Griece, Hamilton and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister. The body will rest at the B.J. Omand Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment following in Riverside cemetery.
