    • WISMER, Elizabeth Ida (Bessie) - Went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at Fairview Mennonite Nursing Home, in her 96th year. Dear sister of Clayton, Ada, Hazel and Wilfred and his wife Audrey. Predeceased by Mervin (2003) and Henry (2004). Elizabeth was a member of Preston Mennonite Church where she was active with the Fidelia Women in Mission. In the early years she taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was also an inspector at Cambridge Towels for 30 years. Elizabeth's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 2-4 p. m. (Auditorium) and 7-9 p. m. (dining room) at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Dr. , Cambridge, and from 1-1:45 p. m. on Tuesday at Preston Mennonite Church. Funeral service 2 p. m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Preston Mennonite Church (791 Concession Rd. , Cambridge). Pastor Claire Osinkosky officiating. Spring interment in the family plot at Hagey Cemetery.       Wismer, Lydia Ann, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Steiner) Kinzie, was born in Waterloo Twp,, Ont., Nov. 27, 1882; died at the South Waterloo Hospital, Cambridge, Ont., Apr. 24, 1973; aged 90 y. 4 m. 28 d. On Feb. 17, 1909 she was married to Abram C. Wismer, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons (Henry, Mervin, Clayton, and Wilfred), 3 daughters (Elizabeth, Ada, and Hazel), and 3 brothers (Harry, Isaiah, and Edwin). She was a member of the Preston Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Apr. 27, in charge of Rufus Jutzi and Howard Good; interment in Hagey Cemetery.
