Annie Eunson And John H. Eby Exchange Vows
Gladioli and ferns banked the altar of the Missionary Tabernacle at four o'clock on Saturday for the wedding of Miss Annie Eunson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Eunson, 349 Luella St., and Mr. John Howard Eby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Eby, R.R. 3, Kitchener. Rev. C.W. Sorley officiated. Pianist was Miss Mabel Eby and soloist, Mrs. Elmer Potz.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown designed with a lace bodice and a white satin skirt enhanced with insertions of lace at the front and terminating in a train. Her veil was floor-length, and fell from a sweetheart head- dress trimmed at the back with orange blossoms from her mother's wedding veil. She carried a white Testament tied with white streamers knotted with white gardenia buds. A large gardenia was affixed to the top of the Testament.
She was attended by Miss Lorna Arndt as maid of honor, and Miss Isobella Sorley as junior bridesmaid. They were gowned alike, Miss Arndt in floor-length pink sheer and Miss Sorley in floor-length blue sheer. The gowns were designed with sweetheart necklines, long lily-pointed sleeves. They carried nosegays of pink roses, carnations and blue cornflowers. Mr. George Eby, brother of the bridegroom, R.R. 3, Kitchener, was best man. Ushers were Messrs. Nelson Willis and Clarence Eby, cousin of the bridegroom.
Little Miss Lorraine Geisel was flower girl. She was frocked in blue sheer, floor-length, fashioned with a square neckline and short, puffed sleeves. She wore a corsage of blue cornflowers and pink carnations. A reception was held at the Pines Inn at Bridgeport at 7 p.m. where dinner was served to 26 guests. The bride's mother received in navy blue crepe pinned with a corsage of red roses and the groom's mother in navy blue crepe also, with a similar corsage.
Prior to her departure on a wedding trip to Toronto and points south, the bride donned a blue crepe, two-piece dress under a grey box-type coat, completed with black accessories. They will reside at R.R. 3, Kitchener.
