    • Adam Kowaisky

      PRESTON, Adam Kowalsky, 150 Maple St., died Monday at South Waterloo Hospital. He was 85. Born in Poland, he came to Preston, in 1906. He was a moulder for 50 years at Clare Bros. Ltd., until retiring in 1955. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Ellen Stapelton, in 1935. Surviving are three sons, Jerome of Simcoe; William of Hull, Que. and Robert of Preston; two daughters, Mrs. George (Vera) Whitte of Kitchener and Mrs. Joseph (Muriel) Neubauer of Buffalo; two brothers, Benjamin and Frank, both of Preston; one sister, Mrs. Theodore Petroski of Detroit: 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, until Thursday, when removal will be made to the church for mass, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Clement's cemetery.
