  Claude Lapsley PRESTON -Claude Lapsley, 215 Water St., well-known Preston resident for the past 25 years, died suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, yesterday. He was 70. Mr. Lapsley suffered a heart attack early Thursday morning. A native of Kirkwall, Beverley Township, he resided in that district for 45 years when he came to Preston. He was a laborer and fireman at Clare Bros. for a number of years then later employed [part of obituary was not photocopied] Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Rev. R.T. Appleyard, rector of St. John's Anglican Church, will officiate at the services Kitchener-Waterloo Record 9 Jan 1953
