  John A. Krug Funeral services for John A. Krug, a retired furniture dealer and funeral director who died at Stratford Hospital February 18, were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Tavistock on Friday. Born Aug. 23, 1884 in East Zorra Township, Mr. Krug was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Krug. He was in business in Tavistock from 1916 until retiring in 1948 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Tavistock Lodge AF & AM, No. 609. He married the former Rebecca Stock Dec. 22, 1915. Along with his wife he is survived by two sons, Lorne of Kitchener and Robert of Tavistock; one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Marie) Kaufman of Tavistock; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial took place in the church Cemetery. Rev F. R Mosher officiated. The Robert Krug Funeral Home, Tavistock, was in charge of arrangements. New Hamburg Independent, February 26, 1969
