  Frank Joseph Kuba Frank Joseph Kubu of New Hamburg, formerly of St. Thomas, died on Wednesday of last week at his home. He was 85. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kubu and resided in the St. Thomas area most of his life. He was employed as an engineer by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad until he retired 15 years ago. Mr. Kubu was a member of the Oxford Veterans Naval Club. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Maude Burke. Surviving are two sons, Edward J. of Kitchener and Francis M. of London; four daughters, Mrs. William P. (Irene) Nichols of St. Thomas, Mrs. Russell (Helen) Pickard of London, Mrs. Milton (Margaret) Crandall of Sparta and Mrs. Scott (Dorothy) Green of New Hamburg, with whom he lived; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held Saturday at William Funeral Home, St. Thomas. Rev. J.F. Wagland of Trinity Anglican Church officiating. Burial was in Elmdale Park cemetery.
