- Peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 Evangeline V. (Voegtte) White age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas L. White (1994). Loving mother of Barbara Clarke and Cecil of Listowel, Gail McCauley and Kevin of St. Marys, Sharon White of Stratford, Susan Holliday and Don of St. Marys, Robert White and Cheryl of London, Judy Wick and Barry of Stratford, David White and Donna of Kingston. Sadly missed by 37 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren. Dear mother-in-law of Dora White of Stratford, Joe Tunks of Chatham and Lawrence Osborne of Hanover. Dear sister of Bud Voegtte of Simcoe. Predeceased by children Gloria Tunks, Violet Osborne, Twins - Thomas and Terrance, a daughter-in-law Corrine White and 3 sisters Mary, Elaine and Vivian.
Resting at the L. A. Ball Funeral Chapel, 7 Water St. N., St. Marys on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church (220 Queen St. E., St. Marys) on Saturday, March 20, 2010, with a visitation from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. with Major Jim Hann officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. In her memory donations to a charity of one's own choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at www.ballfc.ca.
